New Solutions, Inc. (NSI) is a management consulting company formed in 1984 to offer a broad base of services tailored to meet the diverse and changing needs of health care providers. The firm continues to offer a full array of health care consulting with emphasis on the development and implementation of strategic and service line plans, business development and marketing plans, medical staff development, outcomes measurement and monitoring, and regulatory compliance activities.

NSI's emphasis on data-informed consulting and decision-making led to the development of health care planning and marketing data management software, Health Care Decision Analyst (HCDA). This product was refined and expanded in the late 1990's with the support of Dun & Bradstreet Health Care Information, Inc. That association ended with NSI gaining the rights to the HCDA. Subsequently, NSI's principals, through a joint venture arrangement, further expanded consulting and data management services to include performance improvement and quality management. The flexible data system developed through this new company, Beacon Health Informatics LLC, provides NSI clients with additional decision making support.
